On behalf of the men and women of the Stedman Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to thank you for visiting our website. The first duty of government is to protect its citizens. Governments at all levels exist to provide this fundamental service. Stedman Fire Department established itself as a department in 1972 and has done an exemplary job over the past 50 years in protecting its citizens.

The Stedman Volunteer Fire Department has evolved over the years in accordance with its citizens’ needs. Firefighting has always been at the core of this service. The members of the Stedman Volunteer Fire Department are proud of its rich history and its tradition of excellence. As we move forward with the Department, we aim to continue strengthening our partnership with the community as we provide the highest quality of service and safety to those we serve.

It is not just an honor, but a personal privilege for me to serve as your Fire Chief. I am truly fortunate to be part of a compassionate, well-trained, and enthusiastic team of exceptional individuals who have dedicated themselves to serving the remarkable citizens and visitors of Stedman.
